Here are some testamonials from my new puppy families.
“As proud owners of a Keanstar puppy we cannot speak highly enough of Sue, Ron & Sarah. We were devastated after the loss of our beautiful Golden Retriever Chance at the age of 15½ years. We feel so lucky through Keanstar Kennels that we were able to again bring another Golden Retriever into our family. We were encouraged to visit the puppies as much as we wanted and we looked forward to our weekly visits, sharing the experience of watching the puppies grow, the puppies were having fun and being socialised at the same time. The care that went into nurturing these puppies to ensure that they were well balanced and ready for new experiences and a new family was nothing short of astounding, nothing was too much trouble. We still have contact with all the families who were lucky enough to “adopt” a puppy and our birthday get-togethers are so much fun. We would not hesitate to recommend Keanstar Kennels to anyone who is looking for a Golden Retriever to become part of their family. Heartfelt thanks to Sue, Ron & Sarah.” The Emerson Family – Ivanhoe Victoria
“We will never be able to thank Sue and family enough for entrusting us with of her gorgeous Golden Retriever babies. The love and care that Sue provided those puppies during the first few weeks of their life, was very special to watch. She adored them all and they were all given the best possible start in life. We have kept in touch with Sue and the other families and have shared their wonderful milestones. Buddy is a gorgeous, beautifully natured boy, who brings so much joy to our life. My kids simply adore him, it is a very special relationship. When we look to add to our family again, Sue and Keanstar Kennels will be out first call. I could not recommended Sue and Keanstar kennels highly enough to anyone looking to add a Golden Retriever to their life, she is a one of kind and the environment she introduces these gorgeous babies to is a warm, loving, nurturing one.”
“In March of 2013 I decided to look for another Golden Retriever who would be able to take over from our wonderful Goldie, Annie, who was coming close to retirement as a 12 year veteran of therapy work at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney Through a number of contacts i came across Sue Keane and her family in Melbourne. As fate would have it, at the time of our first call , her beautiful Goldie, Kaala, had just had her first pregnancy confirmed. We applied to Sue, and kept our fingers crossed that we would be lucky enough to get one of Kaala’s pups.. Thankfully we did and our female Golden Retriever, Nina, is now part of our family in Sydney I made two trips down to Melbourne from Sydney to see the puppies while they were very young …after the first trip I knew that we were in for a well reared, well nurtured and well socialised pup….there were 8 of them in the litter and were raised by Sue in her home Nina has been an absolute joy .. she is intelligent, a beauty, playful, keen to be with people, a great swimmer, beautifully muscled , a great watch-dog and the absolute apple of my husband’s eye! We have two other dogs, Annie a 14 year old Goldie and Ruby a 10 year old beagle… Nina fitted in straight away and is now the junior member of that little pack Nina recently qualified as a Delta Therapy Dog and is attached to the Intensive Care Unit , The Severe Burns Unit and the Emergency Unit of Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. I cannot recommend Sue Keane highly enough as both a person and a breeder. She is a warm and caring human being and highly skilled at raising and training Golden Retrievers. If you are looking for a family pet, a dog to compete or a working dog like our Nina, I hope you are lucky enough to get one of Keanstar’s pups I can be reached via Sue Keane should you wish to talk to me directly in regard to our experience with a Keanstar puppy.”
